County Home Road Reopened for Winter; Project to Resume in 2021

County Home Road is now open to traffic following completion of two phases of a three-phase improvement project. Construction on County Home Road between Gilmore Road and Highway 13 included 10” concrete paving, the addition of right and left turn lanes, and a roundabout at the Alburnett Road intersection.

The road will be open to all traffic through the winter. The project will resume in the spring between N Center Point Road and C Ave Ext. Like this year’s work, next year’s construction will also include 10” concrete paving, the addition of right and left turn lanes, and a roundabout at the C Ave Ext intersection. The road will be open to local traffic only during construction. Work is expected to begin in April or May and be completed by October 2021.
